![]() ![]() Since SiriusXM® satellite radio is a popular feature in a car, you would think that Land Rover would put it in all of its models. Satellite radio doesn’t come readily available on all Land Rover and Range Rover models. Does Land Rover Offer Satellite Radio On All Models? It’s something that will drastically improve your ride.ĭo Land Rovers come with SiriusXM® built-in? Can you add it to your Land Rover? Read on to find out. However, when it comes to entertainment, you need SiriusXM® satellite radio. The parts are well-built and pretty reliable. Land Rovers are great vehicles in their own right. But there's no way an automaker creates something like this without offering it through the rest of the line - we'd be shocked if it wasn't available on the Range Rover in the next couple of years.SiriusXM® Satellite Radio Options For Land Rover This mode, like the others in the system, optimizes suspension and shift points for agility and ride quality. Also, for now, the Sport (and Sport Supercharged) are the only Land Rover models to include a new option in the Terrain Response system - Dynamic Program. On the outside, two-bar side vents and side marker lights help differentiate the Sport from the larger Range Rover. It still uses real gauges with a five-inch TFT display for the driver, and high-beam assist. It gets the new 5.0-liter engines (all 5.0-liter-equipped Land Rovers now have 15,000-mile service intervals) and revised transmission, improved suspension and steering, larger brakes, sand launch control, RSC, redesigned interior, Towing Assist, surround camera system, and a new center stack. This smaller Range Rover, based on the LR4 platform yet with the panache and features of the Range Rover, receives many of the upgrades and improvements of its big brother. We think there may have to be some changes to safety regulations before it can come to America, and the view may not be ideal from the middle seat in the second row (what would they see? The nav or the movie?), but this is an innovative design that should be made available here. This serves as the nav system's screen, but simultaneously can display a movie to passengers. We were given the opportunity to preview a dual view screen in the center stack. One of the coolest new items shown in the cabin may not come to the U.S. When driving off-road, the speedometer shifts to the right (odds are you won't be driving over 100 mph off-road), and the space created with this move provides more space for detailed information while on the trail. Between the virtual tachometer and speedometer is a customizable driver information center. New for 2010 and not offered in any other SUV, the gauge cluster is now entirely made up of a TFT screen - there are no actual gauges here. The cabin receives its share of new technology, in addition to new seats, new leather (now also available on the headliner), upgraded lighting, and new wood hues. Foglights have been moved below the bumper and there are now three-bar side vents and turn indicators. Styling has been redone inside and out, with subtle changes to the front end that make it look cleaner and also make it more aerodynamic. Advanced Emergency Brake Assist, which works with the Range Rover's Forward Alert radar, steps in if a collision is imminent, prepping the vehicle and adding more braking. You can input data about your trailer to make this system most accurate. Other new features include Trailer Stability Assist, which monitors steering and vehicle swing, and can cause reduction in torque and more braking to bring the vehicle and trailer back under control adaptive cruise control blind-spot monitoring surround camera system, with multiple cameras, making it easier to park, maneuver with a trailer, or drive off-road and Towing Assist, which shows the trajectory of trailer and tow vehicle. Gradient Release Control, a new feature within Hill Descent Control, inhibits acceleration when going down extremely steep inclines. Terrain Response upgrades include sand launch control, helping reduce wheelspin while providing the appropriate amount of power and better traction control and braking response in Rock Crawl mode. While there have been numerous updates focused on highway and canyon drives, there also have been improvements in the off-road ability.
